Syria misses Deadline to Remove Chemical Arms: OPCW and UN

Nations, overseeing the destruction of Syria’s chemical stockpiles and
production facilities speaks during an
interview with AFP in Damascus. Syria is to miss a
December 31 deadline for the removal of part of its chemical weapons arsenal
for destruction, with ships due to receive the materials returning to Cyprus.
