The World's Most Expensive Car Crash in history. That crash was occurred on 2011 in Japan. The crash contained eight Ferraris, three Mercedes-Benzes, a Lamborghini, and two other vehicles. The accident damaged 14 vehicles worth $3.8 million.
The front Ferrari driver lost control of his car and those behind nine supercars and three other vehicles failed to apply their brakes in time.
Nobody was seriously injured in the accident, but the road in the southern prefecture of Yamaguchi was closed for six hours after the accident. According to The Asahi Shimbun, a local newspaper, the sports cars were driven in convoy by a group of automobile aficionados on their way to Hiroshima,western Japan.
Police say 10 drivers, aged between 38 and 61, were exceeding the speed limit or not paying enough attention to the road.
