Classmate Spell Bee 2014: Spelling Championship
Anagha Sethuraman wins sixth edition in 2014 of India's largest school-level spelling championship Spelling Champ of "Classmate Spell Bee 2014".
The champion wins a prize of Rs 2,00,000 and an opportunity to witness the prestigious Scripps National Spelling Bee with a parent in Washington DC in an all-expenses-paid trip.

The finals of the competition will be telecast on The Discovery Channel, Discovery Kids and Discovery Tamil. The spelling extravaganza, in its sixth season now, has travelled to more than 800 schools in 27 cities and reached out to over 2,50,000 students from Class 5 to 9.
The teen from Chennai's Maharishi Vidya Mandir had beaten 16 other finalists from across the country, in the sixth edition of India's largest school-level spelling championship - an initiative by stationery brand Classmate and Radio Mirchi and powered by The Times of India. Times NIE is the education partner for the competition.
The semi-finalists were Delhi's Saumya Malhotra, who bagged second place, Esther David from Mumbai and Vaswati Das from Guwahati. Das was also among the national winners of the Spell Bee's fifth edition.
