President Mamnoon Hussain to pay official visit to china
APP: President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain will pay an official visit to China starting from next week, the Chinese foreign ministry announced Tuesday. The foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying making the announcement at the press conference here said that President Mamoon will pay the state visit at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart President Xi Jinping from February 18-21. This is the first official visit of President Hussain after assuming office last year, she said adding that he will also be the first head of the state Chine will welcome immediate after Spring Festival/ Chinese Lunar New Year. “China attaches great importance to his visit”, she noted.
President Xi will hold a welcome ceremony for the visiting distinguished guest and also exchange views on matter of common interests.
Premier Li Keqiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the ruling NPC Zhang Dejiang will also hold separate meetings with the Pakistani President. (APP)

The curator briefed the President about the historical significance and architecture of the Great wall, saying that so far 491 heads of states have visited the iconic structure. “I will always cherish the memories of visiting the Great Wall, the kind hospitality extended to me and my delegation by the Chinese hosts,” the president wrote his remarks in the visitors’ book.
