Chitose-Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival: Hikkaido

Visitors take picture in a welcome gate of the Chitose-Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival illuminated by cocktail colorful light to produce a fantastic world in Chitose, Hikkaido. Ice Festival displayed frozen fish and frozen ice sculptures which is sprinkled and freezed by the water from Lake Shikotsu. The water of Lake Shikotsu is water a high degree of transparency and ice sculptures emit a distinctive bluish. The annual ice festival will be held here until February 16. During ice festival sculptures made from the lake light-ups, water, original stage, held ice wedding, fireworks display, etc.
