Sports: Norway beats India in Chess World Championship 2013

The new world chess champion, Norwegian Magnus Carlsen (R) receives the trophy from the president of the World Chess Federation (FIDE), Kirsan Ilyumzhinov (2L) and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J. Jayalalithaa (L) during  a presentation ceremony in Chennai. Norwegian prodigy Magnus Carlsen claimed the world chess title on November 22, 2013 in emphatic style, dethroning India's Viswanathan Anand after a one-sided series and becoming the first Western champion since 1975.
