Annual "Foodex" Japan Food exhibition

 Annual "Foodex" food exhibition is Asia's largest food exhibition was held from 4 to 7 March 2014 at Chiba, suburban Tokyo.

Japan and the US have negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) free trade agreement. Japan wants to exempt rice, wheat, beef and pork, dairy products and sweetening plants from tariff elimination, while the US has refused to concede the Japanese position.-AFP
